Meet the Experts
The Davao Software Industry Incorporated successefully held its first activity called "Meet the Experts: Software Project Management - Global Trends and Best Practices.
The activity was attended by several software and software related companies in Davao. Also on the attendees list are representatives from the Board of Investments, the City Information Technology Center of Davao City, and Ms. Wit Holganza, President of the ICT Davao.
The event started with a welcome remarks from DSII President, Atty Sam Matunog. Then followed by a presentation from Concentrix about the professional courses offered by their institute. Internal VP Rodney Jao made a presentation on Software Project Management; focusing on the trends and software project managementment in relationship with software engineering. And followed by a very productive discussion with the expert panel composed by Mr. Bert Barriga, Mr. Mark Maglana, and Mr Trazo.
The event was successful thanks to Ariel Nengasca of the Department of Trade and Industry for the never ending support to the local ICT industry. DTI did the invites, secretariat services, and provided the snacks for this event Thanks to Concentrix for providing the venue.
